Leather can seem a bit intimidating to work with, but in this one-day workshop we made two bindings with leather spines. Using binding techniques Todd learned in Switzerland, we will made a variation on of a case structure that allows for incorporating leather with a minimal amount of paring or shaping. Todd will also showed us how leather can be used on the boards.
Participants brought two textblocks that were sewn, rounded and backed.
